Today marked my first day of classes in the diploma program of sustainable development and design at Universidad Ibero Americana. The class looks as if it will be very interesting and packed with information and hands on training in the sustainable/development field. It has a global focus but Mexico City will be the primary laboratory for our work.
The first class was introductory and served as an introduction for the students and those involved in the program and as an overview of the material being taught. In addition those involved gave an overview of the evolution and current state of the field.
On Thursday the class will attend a conference presented by the internationally recognized sustainability expert Bill Reed whose company, “Regenisis Group” has been involved with green projects across North America. The next class should prove to be very interesting.
